Without Time — Day 620 from our ART EVERY DAY series.
SYMBIOSES
Lately, we've been collaborating extensively with musicians—a turn of events we hadn’t anticipated but that beautifully complements our work. Music and art form a wonderful symbiosis, and we're excited to soon showcase some of the albums and singles we've designed. But our collaborations extend beyond music, reaching into the realm of literature as well. Abigail Salvesen has masterfully crafted a stunning cover using our piece "Fire Blazin’, No. 7." It's incredibly rewarding for us to work across different domains with other artists. As art directors, we continue to create book covers using works from various artists. It’s an intriguing development to see other creatives now using our art for their cover designs, reflecting a fascinating evolution in our collaborations.

SOURCE OF INSPIRATION
Dieter Rams — In our upcoming newsletters, we'll explore the inspirations that drive our work, starting with the legendary Dieter Rams. His ten principles for good design have left an indelible mark on creatives around the globe. As we frequently stroll past Vitsœ in Munich—a brand that champions Rams' timeless furniture designs—we're reminded of the profound impact his philosophy has on our work. Rams' iconic designs for Braun not only paved the way for Jonathan Ive's visionary work with Apple but also continued to inspire our approach to simplicity and the retro-futuristic aesthetic of the '70s. This influence is evident in our typography and the design of our upcoming 1/1 projects, for which we're currently crafting the prototypes.
We're excited to offer a single copy of "Der Wert von gutem Design," featuring Rams' ten principles for good design in German, for free. It will be given to the first person who sends us a DM or email.
